Ambrose Aquatics Center Update
The Ambrose Recreation & Park District is in the process of redesigning the Ambrose Aquatics Center to better align the design with available funding. The last design was approximately $1 million over the budgeted amount; therefore, the consultant is in the process of redesigning the Aquatics Center to offer similar amenities at a reduced cost. The project is still subject to a competitive bidding process and the District is hopeful the re-design will result in more favorable bids.
ARPD is working in cooperation with the City of Pittsburg in developing this project. If all goes well, the pool is expected to be open on Memorial Day 2016.

Congratuations Mary Jane Rodrigues!
Mary Jane Rodrigues was recently honored by the Board of Directors for 25 years of dedicated service to the Ambrose Recreation & Park District.

The Ambrose Recreation and Park District is always seeking volunteers to help with special events, park clean-ups, and community center activities. Here is your chance to give back to your community while having fun meeting new friends.
Volunteer applications are available at the District Administrative Offices, at 3105 Willow Pass Road, Monday-Friday 9 am -5 pm.
Volunteers will be placed by their area of interest, by availability, and program times. For more information please call 458-1601
