Youth Soccer Camp at Ambrose Recreation and Park District First 5 Sports Classes at the Ambrose Community Center

Youth Soccer Camp

REGISTER FOR CAMP ONLINE (under "Youth Sports Program") or visit the Ambrose Community Center between normal business hours. Cost to participate is $20, which includes t-shirt, snack, water, and a medal!

EVERY THURSDAY from October 6th - November 10th
5:15 - 6:00 pm (ages 5-7)
6:15 - 7:00 pm (ages 8-10)

To sign up for First 5 classes, please visit the Ambrose Community Center between normal business hours to obtain a flyer and complete your payment. Cost is $10.00 per child.

JUMP BUNCH (Wednesdays)

September 28th - November 2nd (30 mins sessions)
5:15 – 5:45 pm (ages 2-3)
5:50 – 6:20 pm (ages 4-5)


BASKETBALL (Tuesdays)

October 25th - December 6th (30 mins sessions)
(Thanksgiving week off)
5:15 – 5:45 pm (ages 3-4)
5:50 – 6:20 pm (ages 4-5)




Summer 2016 is ending, but Summer 2017 will see the Ambrose Park Aquatics Center Complex renovation completion!

On June 11, 2016 the Ambrose Recreation & Park District's Board of Directors hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ambrose Park Aquatics Center Complex renovation. The event celebrated the start of construction that will provide a renovated pool and deck and a new bathhouse and restrooms. This long awaited project is funded by the East Bay Regional Park District Measure WW, the Keller Canyon Mitigation Fund, the City of Pittsburg, and the Ambrose Recreation & Park District. The project is scheduled to be completed by Memorial Day 2017.

Volunteers Needed!



The Ambrose Recreation and Park District is always seeking volunteers to help with special events, park clean-ups, and community center activities. Here is your chance to give back to your community while having fun meeting new friends.

Volunteer applications are available at the District Administrative Offices, at 3105 Willow Pass Road, Monday-Friday 9 am -5 pm.

Volunteers will be placed by their area of interest, by availability, and program times. For more information please call 458-1601

SPECIAL REQUEST: We are looking for a gym attendant who is willing to volunteer their time on Mondays/Wednesday/Fridays from 5:00-9:00pm.

This is an unpaid position but upon volunteering you and a family member will receive free membership as well as other discounts to other programs at the Community Center.
